The purification of plasmid DNA from bacterial cells is an important step in the cloning workflow. During plasmid purification, bacterial cells are lysed, freeing DNA and other cellular components from the cell wallThis video gives brief, but a precise of description of what a plasmid is. The beginning of the video is them basically talking the viewer through what happens in the isolation of a plasmid then it goes on to a scientist doing the actual experiment. It was something to really enjoy watching.
