A micropipette is a common yet an essential laboratory instrument used to accurately and precisely transfer volumes of liquid in the microliter range.I enjoyed watching this video because it reminded me of how we learned to use micropipettes in the lab. This video shows exactly how to correctly use the instrument and gets up close so you can see what is exactly being pressed. Also I appreciated the fact that in parts of the video there is captions with some of the instructions that would be really important to pay attention to.

Colony transformation of E coli with plasmid DNA

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slY4qrnZIM8 This video was very helpful to understanding the process of colony transformation of E coli with Plasmid DNA. I like how at the very beginning the video takes time to show each one of the materials that will be used throughout the lab and tells the measurements of each one that is needed. I also really enjoy how they separate each of the steps making it easier for someone to backtrack if there is some sort of confusion.
